Etebo, Mohammed to hit Eagles camp Wednesday

Feirense of Portugal midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo and Musa Muhammed who plays for Željezničar Sarajevoare in Bosnia are expected to arrive at the Super Eagles Crowne Plaza Hotel London camp on Wednesday ahead of the two international friendly games against Senegal and Burkina Faso.


 

The two players who should have joined their teammates were held back due to visa issues, according to a Nigeria Football Federation top official in Abuja on Tuesday evening.But the visa issues have been sorted out, meaning the two players can now join up with their teammates in London.

The official however revealed that there is no date set for the arrival of Uche Agbo who features for Spanish LaLiga team Granada and Kingsley Madu who plays for Zulte-Waregem in Belgium as both players are also facing visa problems.On Tuesday it was gathered that Ikechukwu Ezenwa who also had visa issues, will be in camp on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, there are 19 players already in camp for the two friendlies against Senegal and Burkina Faso billed for Thursday and next Monday at The Hive Stadium in London. 

The players are Carl Ikeme, Ogenyi Onazi, Alex Iwobi, John Ogu and Leon Balogun, Kenneth Omeruo and Tyronne Ebuehi, Moses Simon, Victor Moses (injured) and Isaac Success.

Others are William Troost-Ekong, Chidozie Awaziem, Shehu Abdullahi, Noah Bazee, Wilfred Ndidi, Kelechi Iheanacho and Ahmed Musa, Olanrewaju Kayode, Elderson Echiejile.

The Eagles will face Senegal on Thursday at The Hive Stadium, while they will take on Burkina Faso on Mondayalso at The Hive.
