Rohr speaks on Enyeama's return

Super Eagles' coach, Gernot Rohr has suggested that former captain of the team Vincent Enyeama won’t replace present captain John Obi Mikel if he returns to the team.

Enyeama’s return has been on for some time now, but issues escalated when first choice goalkeeper Carl Ikeme was diagnosed with Leukaemia leaving the team with Daniel Akpeyi who failed to convince in the 0-2 loss to South Africa.

Shortly before the back to back World Cup 2018 Qualifiers against Cameroon, Rohr revealed Enyeama has agreed to return to the team but said the 34 year old is currently injured and having issues with his future at French side Lille.

The coach suggested that he will be back as soon as he is fit and also sort out his club future, however he has also added a new line this time around by dropping a hint about how he will handle Enyeama if he eventually returns.
