Rivers United have been handed a tough draw in the 2017 Confederation Cup group stages reports.

In a draw held on Wednesday in Cairo, Egypt, the Pride of Rivers who dumped out Rayon Sports 2-0 on aggregate in the playoffs round will face FUS Rabat from Morocco, Tunisian side Club Africain and Kampala CCA from Uganda in Group A.In group B, South African side, Platinum Stars will face battle MC Alger from Algeria, Mbabane Swallows from Swaziland and Tunisia's CS Sfaxien.

In group C, Zambia's Zesco United will battle Reactivo de Libolo from Angola, Al Hilal of Sundan and Egypt's Smouha.WhileSuperSport United were drawn alongside Horoya, C.F from Guinea, Mounana FC of Gabon and TP Mazembe DR Congo in Group D.
