Former Lagos State Governor and the leader of the All Progressive Congress, Asiwaju Bola Hanmed Tinunu and Women leader of the party, Kemi Nelson have expressed satisfaction with the Local Government Election conducted across the state today.

They atttibuted the low turn out of voters as well as apathy in some areas of the state during the exercise to the heavy downpour recorded in the state noting that the exercise was generally peaceful.

Correspondent Kunle Ojo reports that Tinubu and Nelson refuted the allegation of imposition of candidates on members of the party stressing that all the aspirants were given equal opportunity.

They were of the view that those that will emerged at the end of the exercise are the true reflection of the collective will of the people.
