Senator Bukola Saraki expressed this concern while inaugurating the Senate Committee to investigate and review the current security infrastructure in the country as part of measures to address the security challenges.

Earlier, the chairman of the Senate Committee and Leader of the Senate, Ahmed Lawan pledged the Committee’s commitment to carry out a thorough job in carrying out its assignment in addressing the core issues bordering on security in the country.

Members of the Senate Committee include Senators Abdullahi Yahaya, Emmanuel Paulker, Biodun Olujimi, Olusola Adeyeye, Rose Oko, Sam Egwu, among others

The inauguration of the Committee saddled with the task of reviewing the security infrastructure in the country, is sequel to the resolution of the Senate on the 22nd of November owing to the wanton killings of Nigerians in Zamfara, Adamawa and other parts of the country.
