Reps vow to recover pension fund
The Ad-hoc committee on the activities of the presidential task force on pension reforms has pledged to uncover funds and assets recovered in connection with pension matters in Nigeria.
The Ad-hoc committee led by Hon. Anayo Nnebe from Anambra state expressed worries over the negligence being suffered by pensioners in the country, adding that a wide range of stakeholders involved have been invited for questioning in line with the legislative mandate
The lawmaker disclosed this at the investigative hearing on pension reforms following the resolution of the green chamber at the House of Representatives.
Hon. Anayo Nnebe insisted on the reformation of the commission, noting that all recovered assets by the joint tax force will be uncovered.
The Ad-hoc committee however resolved to reconvene next week for further scrutiny.
