The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Anambra state chapter have elected new excos ahead of the forthcoming national convention.

The exercise held at the party Secretariat in Awka, the Anambra state capital, installed Ndubusi Nwaobu as the state chairman and several other officials for various offices such as secretary, treasurer, youth leader,  woman leader to mention a few.

Ndubusi emerges winner by polling 10425 votes from votes cast by delegates from across the 21 local government of the state.

While reacting to the development, one of the party stewards, Onyebuchi Offor expressed satisfaction over the turnout of members of Congress and as well affirmed the credibility of the result.

He said the people of Anambra has once allowed their voice to be held once more by being patriotic and loyal party members.On his part, the newly elected chairman stated that he will work harmoniously with other members of the party to ensure that it lost glory is restored in the nearest future in the state. While speaking further on his emergence, Nwaobu appreciated the people of the state and pledged that he will not let them down.
