Afenifere meets Obasanjo ahead 2019
Leaders of the Pan-Yoruba socio-political organisation, Afenifere have on Monday held a closed-door meeting with former President Olusegun Obasanjo at his Presidential library residence in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital.
The delegation led by Chief Ayo Adebanjo was indoor with the former President for close to two hours.
Speaking about the reason for the visit, the spokesman of the group, Yinka Odumakin said they came to reciprocate the visit of Chief Obasanjo to Pa Ayo Adebanjo and to deliberate on some of the things raised by the former President during the first meeting.
On the position of the group ahead of the 2019 general election, Odumakin said they will make their position known very soon but they will definitely support someone who will work on restructuring Nigeria.
