Strike paralyses activities in Ekiti
Following the directive of the National Executive of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) that all workers in the country should embark on seven days warning strike, Ekiti state chapter of the union has complied with the directive of the union.


 Galaxy TV correspondent went to the state secretariat and found out that offices were under lock and key as the time this report was filed. 
 
Speaking with journalists, the state NLC chairman, Ade Adesanmi posited that the union is demanding N50,000 minimum wage. 
 
He said workers in the state will not return to their duty post unless there is a directive from the national council of the union.
 
He restated the determination of the Nigeria labour Congress to ensure the welfare of workers in the country is taken seriously.
