The recent murder of the dispatch rider of an online marketing company in Port Harcourt is now generating reactions as family members of the delivery agent who was killed last week by some customers at the Ada George axis of Port-Harcourt, the Rivers state capital are demanding justice.

The wife of the deceased, Blessing Chukwuma and other family members told Galaxy television that the death of the man must not be swept under the carpet.

Blessing said since the husband was killed in the line of duty, the online marketing company should champion in demanding for justice in the matter.

A security expert in Rivers State, Efe Wanogho says online marking companies must ensure the security of its marketing agents.

Efe Wanogho said the incident calls for a review of operations of online marketing companies to guarantee the safety of delivery agents. He called on online marketing companies to partner with security agencies in carrying out its operations in order to forestall a repeat of such incident.

Meanwhile, a financial expert and Professor of Business Policy and Strategy at the Rivers State University, Professor Hamilton Donald corroborated what the security experts said.

The widow of the deceased Blessing Chukwuma who is a mother of four however appealed to the online marketing company and well-meaning Nigerians to come to her aid.
