Police partner liquor sellers
Police in Ogun state have extended the hands of partnership to liquor sellers association in the state through a seminar organised to educate them about their roles in enhancing security in the society.
Speaking about the reason for the seminar and the partnership, the Commissioner of Police, Ogun State Command, Ahmed Iliyasu noted that most of the crimes committed in the country started from bars and joints where the hoodlums hibernate and strategize.
He added that with the information provided to them about their unique role as agents of a secured society, the liquor sellers will not hesitate to provide useful information to the security agents about suspected criminals.
On her part, the leader of the liquor sellers association pledged that the body will continue to work with government agencies and ministries in order to have a peaceful and healthy society.
