Police beefs up security in Ondo
In the mood of the recent gun attack on innocent fun seekers in Ikere a neighbouring town in Akure the Ondo state capital, the Nigeria police, Ondo state command has announced plans to beef up the state of security across the state.
This development is to forestall any of such attack by hoodlums who may capitalize on the ongoing festive period to unleash terror on innocent people.
Speaking with Galaxy news correspondent Lebi Joseph, the state police public relation officer, Femi Joseph said the people in the state should not exercise any fear as the police is ever ready to provide adequate security during and beyond yuletide season.
Femi Joseph also issues a stern warning to people of the state who derive pleasure fireworks saying such act remain banned in the state.
