Oke Ado crisis: Police advised to be neutral

The Oyo State Police Command has been advised to conduct credible investigation on the incessant riots in Oke Ado area of the state.


The National Public Relations Officer of the Oodua Peoples Congress, (OPC) New Era faction, Comrade Akinpelu Adesina while speaking with Correspondent Kunle Ojo in Ibadan said the last crisis which led to the arrest of 60 suspects by the police was between members of the two OPC factions in the state.

Akinpelu, who charged authorities of the state police command to be neutral stated that those behind the crisis should be invited and be prosecuted if found culpable.

The Commissioner of Police in the state, Abiodun Odude had promised that those arrested in connection with the crisis would be charged to court.
