The Ogun state government has commenced the demolition of structures on the right of way for the reconstruction and expansion of the 7.5 km Enugada/ Adatan road in Abeokuta, the state capital.

The government said this is in effect to pave the way for the urban renewal initiative of the state government towards increasing the socio economic development of the state

Speaking on the exercise which was led by the state governor, Ibikunle Amosun, the state commissioner for works, Lekan Adegbite said property owners have been adequate compensated before the commencement of the demolition.
