Kaduna partners to solve malnutrition in Nigeria
In a deliberate attempt to find a lasting solution to one of Africans greatest problem on children which is malnutrition, the Kaduna state government has partnered groups to this effect.
At the official launching of multimedia programs titled; ’Start Strong,' and aimed at giving the media necessary support to help educate the populace on the need to have the best infant and youth feeding program.
The wife of the Kaduna state governor Hajia Aisha El-Rufai who is championing this emergency project said the government have set up more than two hundred and fifty primary health care facilities across the twenty-three local governments areas in the state.
In the same vein the project manager, Kaduna state emergency on nutrition action plan, Hajia Zainab said nutrition is given the priority it deserves for a better future generation while the country director, Alive and Thrives, Mr Ogbodo said this marks the end of this menace called malnutrition in Nigeria.
