The minister of information and culture, Lai Mohammed has announced that he will not run for any political office during the 2019 general election.

The information minister said that he will rather work with stakeholders to ensure the success of the rulling All Progressives Congress across the country.

The minister stated this while addressing the representative of all Kwara APC stakeholders within the sixteen local government area in IIorin,  the Kwara state capital, and assured that the state is set to dislodge the present occupants in the state.

While urging them to remain united, he stressed that the battle ahead might be tough and advised then to disregard rumour of him not ready to work with people of certain part of the state.
