The cause of the fire is not yet known. the fire affected all the offices on the 2nd floor including the office of the chairman, the legal department, finance department and the conference room.

The ground floor, first floor, and stores were not affected by the fire.

 

Security operatives who visited the site to evaluate the cause of the inferno revealed that the details of the losses incurred will take a few days to determine as security personnel is investigating the immediate remote causes of the fire.

 

This is coming at a time the Kaduna state electoral commission was about holding its local government elections on the 12 of May 2018.
