Residents of Igbudu community in Warri South local government area of Delta state which plays host to the biggest market in the state, have appealed to the state government to help put the deplorable link road in the community in proper shape.

The residents who said they have written several letters to the lawmaker representing the constituency to no avail, said the road have been long abandoned.

Speaking on the state of the road, a community youth and a leader of the community expressed their views.

Some traders who displayed their wares along the road lament the effect of the deplorable road on their businesses.

When contacted, the member representing Warri South constituency 2 Hon. Dennis Omovie said contractors were chased from site by angry youths last year, and that the road will be captured in the 2018 budget.
