Cross-River begins exportation of livestock
The Cross River State Government says, there is no turning back on its efforts towards industrializing the state as it adds a new factory to be called, Calachika to its numbers of ongoing projects.
The factory, with its construction ongoing at the Ayade Industrial park in Calabar, will be the largest exporter of frozen chicken in Africa in the nearest future.
Taking delivery and further inspection of the equipment, Governor Ben Ayade disclosed that, commercialization of agriculture is a cardinal point in the agenda of his administration and his goal is to make the state a business hub in Africa.
Governor Ayade explains that his administration plans on making CalaChika a global brand by setting up outlets in major cities within and outside the country to grow the state's internally generated revenue.
