Chief of air staff assures Nigerians of security
Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshall Sadique Abubakar has again assured Nigerians that the Military will redouble its efforts to tackle the various security challenges in the country.
Abubakar said this at the inauguration of some projects at the Nigerian Air Force 209 Quick Response Group base in Ipetu-Ijesha, Osun state
The chief of Air staff says the evolving security environment in the country characterized by the insurgency in the North East, clashes in the middle belt and other vices necessitated the expansion of the Nigerian Air Force base to provide swift responses to security emergencies.
He noted that the force would continue to uphold democratic ideals for the progress and prosperity of the Nation
The projects commissioned by the chief of Air staff include additional classroom blocks and a block of 10 studio flats built to provide accommodation for the personnel and ensure that their morale and state of readiness to discharge their duties remain high.
