Four dead as robbers invade Iwo

Four dead as robbers invade Iwo
There was pandemonium in Iwo, an ancient town in Osun state as hoodlums on Tuesday evening raided three banks in the town leaving four persons dead.
 Our correspondent reports that the bandits stormed the banks around 4pm, and raided the three banks situated along Bowen University simultaneously.
 
Three policemen were killed in the course of the robbery while one of the robbers was shot dead by policemen attached to one of the banks.
 
Scores of residents and students were injured as they scampered for safety while the robbery lasted.
 
Efforts to speak with  Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, SP Folashade Odoro has been unsuccessful as at the time of filling this story.
