Army to boost civil relations in Maiduguri

The Nigerian Army has begun the implementation of policies to enhance civil relations in the northeast especially as it affects victims of insurgency Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).

While speaking with journalists in Maiduguri, the Borno state capital, the head of Army's civil relations, Major General Nuhu Angbazo highlighted some of those programs.

The general stated further that the military will carry out other humanitarian services in collaboration with relevant stakeholders to foster cordial relationship amongst the populace.
Angbazo said the Army has gone a step further to consult and engage government agencies to bring the needed succor to the displaced people of the northeast.
