Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi has described the planned creation of cattle colonies across the country as modern slavery saying there is no room for such in the state.

Speaking during a courtesy visit by the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, Ajimobi said cattle colony was synonymous with colonization and an indication that federalism has failed in the country.

Earlier in his remarks, the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi said the incessant killing of innocent Nigerians by rampaging herdsmen has become a source of serious concern.
