American Professional tennis player and world no 1, Serena Williams is 20weeks old pregnant.

The 35 year old player defeated her sister Venus in the final to win the Australian Open in January.

Serena broke the news via her Snapchat on Wednesday that she’s 20 weeks along. She took a selfie in which she poses sideways before a mirror, wearing a yellow swimsuit with cutouts.and captioned it “20 weeks,” She has since deleted the post and it’s unclear what, if any, significance there is to that.

In December, 2016, she announced her engagement to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian in a poem on his site.
“I came home. A little late,” “Someone had a bag packed for me. And a carriage waited. Destination: Rome. To escort me to my very own ‘charming.’ Back to where our stars first collided. And now it was full circle. At the same table we first met by chance. But by choice. Down on knee. He said 4 words. And I said yes.” she wrote. 

Just two days ago, Serena also shared a sweet Instagram photo of Ohanian giving her a lift.

The Women's Tennis Association has ranked her world No. 1 in singles on seven occasions, from 2002 to 2017. In March, she pulled out of the BNP Paribas Open because of a knee injury. No word on what her professional plans are now that she’s halfway to full-term.
